Taco Bout' Fun, Roman Turns ONE
Roman turned one on Thanksgiving this year and I am finally getting around to sharing his first birthday party! I did not know what theme I wanted to do and my husband, of course was like you do you girl. So, I tossed up adventure, wild things and a few other random ones, but then it hit me. TACOS! We love tacos and we go to Taco Tuesday every single week. We told our families we were pregnant with Roman on Taco Tuesday so it seemed like it was meant to be. The planning began, picking up cute things here and there along the way.
I think the outcome was pretty darn TACO-licious :)
I could not find a taco shirt + didn't think far enough in advance to order him one so I hand stitched this shirt + honestly I think it was adorable!
He LOVED his cake.

We were so lucky to have a lot of our family from out of town to celebrate our little guy. We look at each other, daily, and say "He's all ours, we get to keep him forever, can you believe that is our son?"

I find happiness in planning and making others happy. Even if he didn't know exactly what was going on he was celebrated and we had fun doing it. So I guess throwing parties is part of the way I'm leaving my spark ;)
